TWO cyclists were threatened by a motorist as they cycled towards Hardgate roundabout at the weekend, report police.
Around 1.30pm, on June 13, the men were overtaken by a black vehicle that began braking suddenly and swerving about the road, forcing the cyclists to stop to avoid a collision.

The male driver of the vehicle then stopped, got out and began shouting and swearing at the men. They reported the incident to police, who are following a definite line of enquiry.
Police reminded Bankies they are currently running Operation Close Pass aiming at tackling the close passing of cyclists on the roads.
Drivers are pulled over for any spotted offences and given advice or reported for relevant crimes.
Any witnesses to the incident are asked to call police on 101.
