THE owners of a Clydebank pub say they've released a new perfume which is perfect for those who love a full English breakfast.

Hungry Horse, owners of The Titan on Great Western Road, have launched the Eau de Breakfast scent - a fragrance that, in their words (not ours!) "smells exactly like a full English breakfast".

The company says the smell "combines subtle hints of smoky bacon, sizzling sausages with undertones of fresh toast to put any breakfast lover in the mood for food".

Clydebank Post:

Sadly for Scottish lovers of a hearty morning fry-up, there is no mention from the company of a Scottish version featuring the heady aroma of haggis or the tantalising hint of a tattie scone.

Rob Calderbank, business unit director at Hungry Horse, said: “Everyone loves the smell of sizzling bacon in the morning, so what better way to celebrate your favourite meal than with a new fragrance that lets you smell like breakfast all day long?

“With Father’s Day fast approaching, our new Eau De Breakfast fragrance offers the perfect gift for dads in Clydebank who know how to start their day right, and we’re certain it’s going to be a crowd pleaser.

“So, if you’re as big on breakfast as we are, why not try our new scent for yourself, or treat a loved one so they can smell like the best meal of the day too?”

The fragrance isn't for sale - though whether that's a blessing or a curse probably depends on what you like to smell in the morning - but the company is inviting people to enter a competition to win one of the bottles on its website at hungryhorse.co.uk/fathers-day.

For those who aren’t lucky enough to get their hands on one, the pub brand is also giving away ten £100 gift cards to enjoy breakfast in style.
