A MAN injured in an incident in Clydebank a week ago has died in hospital.
Michael McElhinney was found with what are understood to be serious burns at a property in Dunswin Court, Dalmuir.
The 26-year-old was discovered around 7.20pm on June 4 and rushed to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment. Police confirmed he died on Friday.
Detectives continue to investigate exactly what happened.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Enquires are ongoing following the report of a 26-year-old man found injured at a property in Dunswin Court in Clydebank around 7.20pm on Friday, June 4.
“The man suffered serious injuries and was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary, where he died on Friday, June 11."
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 3327 of June 4.
