A WOMAN was arrested at the weekend for allegedly driving at more than five times the legal drink limit.

The 26-year-old was stopped after officers reportedly witnessed a vehicle being driven in an erratic manner and swerving across Livingstone Street, Linnvale, at 2.30am on May 30.

Police say they could smell alcohol and the woman failed a breath test. She was released on an undertaking to appear at court.

In a separate incident, a 45-year-old woman from Grangemouth will be reported to the procurator fiscal for allegedly driving at twice the legal limit of booze.

She was found on the A82 near to Kilbowie Road at 4.40am on Monday.

Meanwhile, a 53-year-old man will be reported for careless driving after allegedly crashing into two parked vehicles on Kilbowie Road at 2.45pm on May 28.
