FANS and friends of the Bankies are being offered the chance to add their name to next season’s home jersey.

The team is raising funds to help them compete on the park in their first full season as a licensed senior club.

It is hoped the initiative will ensure supporters are part of the action on the pitch after a difficult year due to Covid-19.

Club director Bill Abraham said: “The names on the jersey idea came from one of our supporters and it seemed like the ideal way for us to reconnect after a year where the fans were unable to see the team. The jersey is a cracker - possibly the best we’ve had since we started again.

“The funds raised will also help us put a competitive team on the park in what will be a special season for us - seeing us return to playing in the Scottish Cup after an absence of 20 years.”

The cost is £50 per name - and anyone wishing to have their name on the kit can contact commercial@clydebankfc.com.
