A drop-in Covid vaccination centre is open today for those in Clydebank aged 40 and over.

If you are 40 or over and have not yet had your first dose of vaccine, or have waited more than 10 weeks for your second dose of Astra Zeneca – in other words, if you had your first dose in March – you can come along to the Hub Community Centre in Kilbowie Road from 9am until 3pm on Monday, May 31 to get your jag.

A similar facility is open from 9am until 6pm on Monday at the Glasgow Club Donald Dewar in Drumchapel.

People will be seen on a first come first served basis, and there will be a set capacity at each centre.

Future dates will be made available if required and NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde will use its social media channels to keep you regularly updated about potentially busy periods at each of the centres.

The news comes after queues formed outside a drop-in vaccine centre in Glasgow on Saturday as Scotland recorded 583 new coronavirus cases.
