TWO men have been arrested and charged with allegedly trying to kill a woman with a car in Clydebank last week.
Around 10.30pm on Friday, May 22, police received a report of the 37-year-old being struck by a vehicle at the junction of Chalmers Street and Alexander Street in the town centre.
Emergency services rushed to the scene and the woman was taken to hospital. There was no further information provided on her condition.
Police said they were treating the incident as attempted murder and two men, aged 20 and 21 were arrested in connection with what happened.
They were released on an undertaking to appear at court at a later date.
