A PROBE into claims a woman was assaulted in Barmulloch has concluded without any arrests being made. 

Police have confirmed their two-month long investigation into an alleged incident on Foresthall Crescent has come to an end. 

It had been alleged that a woman was attacked on the street in the evening of Sunday, March 21.

Officers say, however, they will carry out a further probe if any further information is brought forward. 

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Enquiries following the report of the assault have been fully investigated and are now concluded with no one being arrested. 

"However, if any further information is brought to the attention of police a further investigation will be carried out."
