Two men have been rushed to hospital after an incident at a Dalmuir tower block.
The incident, which police say involved four men, was reported at Clyde Court in the town at around 4pm on Monday.
An eyewitness described seeing 11 police vehicles, two ambulances and two paramedics at the scene.
He told how he saw two "walking wounded" leaving the scene in an ambulance.
Officers confirmed two men were taken to hospital following the incident, while three men have been arrested.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police were called around 4pm on Monday, 17 May, to a report of a disturbance involving four men at flats in Clyde Court, Clydebank.
"Two men aged, 45 and 47, were taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. A 47-year-old man remains within hospital.
"Three men, aged 20, 27 and 45 have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
"They are due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 19 May 2021.
"Reports will be submitted to the procurator fiscal."
