Neil Lennon has explained why Teemu Pukki never hit it off at Celtic despite going on to shine with Norwich City.
The Finnish striker only netted nine times in 37 games during his time in Glasgow and he was subsequently shipped out to Brondby.
Since then Pukki has joined Norwich City where he has continually found the back of the net since his move in 2018.
This season he has bagged 26 goals to help fire the Canaries back into the Premier League.
Pukki was signed by Neil Lennon at Celtic back in 2013 for a fee of £3million, and the former Hoops boss has explained why the move didn't quite work out.
He told BBC Radio 5 Live: “Teemu Pukki, who is scoring goals at Norwich whether be in the Championship or the Premier League, I signed Teemu eight or nine years ago, he scored maybe 10, 12 goals but it was just maybe too soon for him in that environment, and it didn’t work out the way we wanted it to.”
