A 21-year-old man was taken to hospital for a reported head injury at the weekend.
The man was allegedly assaulted between 3.30am and 4am on Saturday within a property in Kirkwood Avenue, Linnvale.
He was released later that day.

A 29-year-old man was later arrested in connection with the serious assault and appeared at Dumbarton Sheriff Court.
