THE doors of a new B&M store will open in Clydebank next month - less than a year after the retailer opened its first shop in the town.
The new store will be more than 23,000 square feet in size and, according to the company, will see the creation of more than 40 jobs.
The discount retailer has taken possession of the former Dunelm store at the retail park on Livingstone Street.
It will undergo a comprehensive internal and external refurbishment programme before officially opening its doors to the public on Thursday, March 18 at 9am.
Officials say customers can expect to find a wide variety of branded groceries for the best possible price including a range of food, drink, baby food and pet food.
There will also be a fantastic selection of quality health and beauty products, homeware, electricals, DIY essentials, toys, games and gifts.
The new store will be in addition to the B&M in the nearby Clyde Shopping Centre, which opened in September 2020, creating 30 jobs in the area.
A spokesperson from B&M said: “We’re feeling extremely positive about the creation of more jobs for local people during these difficult times and we hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store.
“We are all really excited to get the doors open and welcome our new customers through the door in March.”
