A DRUG dealer who used air freshener to try to disguise a cannabis farm at his home l has been jailed for 14 months.

Saif Khan, 25, was also found with drug growing equipment at a property in Spiershall Close in Yoker on October 10 last year.

Experts later estimated the drugs to be worth more than £79,000.

Glasgow Sheriff Court heard police were told to attend the property amid claims of a man shouting at a woman.

Officers burst into the property and found Khan and two other men inside.

Large bags of green material, later found to be herbal cannabis, were found in different rooms in the property.

Lamps and heaters were found to be heating up plant buds.

Prosecutor Claire Wallace told the court: “There was a large number of air fresheners there to cover up the smell.

"The street value of the cannabis totalled £79,100."

Khan pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of the drug.

It was revealed that Khan, of Kilsyth, North Lanarkshire, has previous convictions for matters not relating to supplying cannabis.
