The assault happened on Auchnacraig Road in Faifley
A 20-year-old man has been arrested and charged with allegedly attacking another man in a Faifley street.
Police responded to an incident around 8.15pm on February 7 in Auchnacraig Road following a report of an assault on a 26-year-old man.

The arrested man was also charged with being in possession of an offensive weapon.
He was released on an undertaking to appear at court at a later date.
