A SECOND man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of Billy McGuire in Mountblow just before Christmas.

Police were called to Perth Crescent around 12.05am on Monday, December 21. Two men were found seriously injured at the property.

Both men were taken to hospital and Mr McGuire, 25, was pronounced dead a short time later. A 34-year-old man was left in a critical condition.

A 24-year-old man appeared in court in connection with Mr McGuire's death on January 2.

Now a second man, aged 25, has been arrested and charged. He is expected to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Wednesday, January 13.

Detectives thanked the public for their help on the investigation but said the inquiry continues.
