Bankies were treated to stunning views of the full moon setting over the Kilpatrick Hills on Wednesday morning.
But one amateur snapper captured the sinking orb to great effect.
Guy Clunie, 58, only took up photography recently but got spectacular results from the veranda of his Lomond View flat in Radnor Park.
The 58-year-old, who works for Terasaki Electric in Clydebank, told the Post: "I’m not a professional just took it up as a hobby a few months ago. I was really pleased with the results."
For those technically curious, Guy used a Nikon P1000 on a tripod for his shots between 8am and 9am this morning.
