Former Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe is ODDS-ON favourite to replace Neil Lennon at Celtic.
The English coach has been out of work since leaving the Cherries last season following their relegation to the second tier down south. Lennon, meanwhile, has found himself under fire with his future being questioned despite the board seemingly backing him to turn things around.
According to Betfair, Howe has moved into 5/6 to take over at Parkhead should Lennon's position become untenable. Surprisingly, former Everton boss Marco Silva is second favourite with odds of 3/1 while ex-Celtic manager Gordon Strachan is 7/1 to be the next man in charge.
Betfair spokesman Sam Rosbottom said: "With Celtic fans at the end of their tether with Neil Lennon after yet another defeat, Eddie Howe is now the clear 5/6 odds on favourite to be the next man on the touchline at Celtic Park.
"The former Bournemouth boss is out of work and the market suggests he is more likely to take over at Celtic Park than David Moyes, who has slid down the list after a good run of results at West Ham. It is also interesting to see jobless Marco Silva enter the running at a surprise 3/1 second favourite as the Bhoys look to get back to the pinnacle of Scottish football."
