A MAN who stole nearly £9,000 worth of mobile phones from a Clydebank store is to be sentenced next month.
Walter Cunningham, 57, of Tallant Road, Drumchapel, pleaded guilty by letter to Dumbarton Sheriff Court on September 2 to taking a quantity of phones from the Vodafone store in Clyde Shopping Centre on May 16, 2018.
The court was told the value of the phones was £8,885.98 and they were not recovered.

Sheriff Maxwell Hendry deferred sentence until October 6 for a social work report and restriction of liberty order assessment.
