A MAN has been charged after a woman was allegedly assaulted and robbed of her mobile phone.
Officers confirmed that they arrested a 38-year-old man.
He is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
He reportedly pushed the 47-year-old woman to the ground and grabbed her phone from her hand on Monday, August 10 on Anniesland Road.
Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A man has been arrested and charged in connection with an assault and robbery in Glasgow.
"The incident happened on Anniesland Road in the city around 4.15pm on Monday, 10 August.
"A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal and the 38-year-old man is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court at a later date."
