AN URGENT appeal has been launched to find the owners of a cat left on a train.
The Scottish SPCA are looking to find her owners, however, say she may have been abandoned.
They were alerted to the incident this afternoon when the cat was removed from the Drumry to Balloch train at Dumbarton Central.
She now in the care of staff at the Dunbartonshire centre.
Kim Mackrell, assistant manager, said: “The cat was found in a blue carrier.
“Someone may have unintentionally left the feline behind. She was found tucked underneath a seat.
“There is no way of telling how long she was left for. We are just thankful that she was found.
“We are keen to trace the owner as soon as possible. If anyone recognises her, please contact our confidential animal helpline on 03000 999 999.”
