TWO community groups recently teamed up together to hand out 250 toiletry bags with free sanitary products to those in the Clydebank area.
The team at Old Kilpatrick Food Parcels and Faifley Foodshare recently joined forces and attended Clyde Shopping Centre where they gave out the free products as part of their ‘Girly Goodybag Giveaway’ campaign.
It comes as schools, colleges and universities remain closed meaning girls have been unable to get regular supplies of sanitary products.
In a post on Facebook, Old Kilpatrick Food Parcels wrote: "Thank you to Clyde Shopping Centre for supporting us today for our Girly Goodybag Giveaway. We handed out 250 toiletries bags with free sanitary products and met lots of lovely people.
"Faifley Foodshare and ourselves are very grateful for your donations and continued support of our projects."
