POPULAR city centre pasta restaurant Sugo is asking Glasgow City Council for permission to extend into its basement.
The Mitchell Street premises said they want to change the use of the vacant basement to form extension to existing restaurant.
A statement said: “The proposed extension into the basement has been necessitated in large part by the need to combat the worst economic effects of the current pandemic.”
A decision is expected on the plans by September 22. The last date for comments is August 31.
