NHS Golden Jubilee is slowly reintroducing person-centred visiting in line with the Scottish Government route map out of lockdown.

To provide equal access to visiting at any time, the hospital can only book one weekday plus one weekend designated visitor appointment per patient.

Weekend visits must be booked by Friday. Visitors can book a visit by calling most wards directly between 9am and 4pm.

Ward teams are dealing with a high volume of calls and are urging relatives and friends of patients that if they don’t get through straight away, then they should leave a message with their name and contact number and they will call them back.

Designated visitors should not see an inpatient in the first 48 hours of their stay, except for essential visits while visiting is not allowed for day case procedures.

Children are also unable to visit at this time.

The hospital is reminding relatives and friends of patients that they can keep in touch with their loved ones using video calling, social media or mobile phone calls.

Wi-Fi in the hospital is free to connect to and there are no set times when relatives can contact someone.

All visitors should report to reception on arrival.
