Emergency services are in attendance at a bus on fire in Clydebank.

Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they were called at 10.05am to reports of the fire at Kilbowie Roundabout. There were reports of smoke pouring from the 300 Avondale bus.

They said one appliance was in attendance. There were no reports of any injuries.

A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were alerted at 10.05am on Monday, July 27 to reports of a bus on fire on Kilbowie Road in Clydebank.

"Operations Control mobilised one fire appliance and firefighters worked to extinguish the flames.

"There were no reported casualties and crews left the scene after ensuring the area was made safe."

Avondale has been approached for comment.
