CLYDEBANK and District Golf Club are encouraging golfers and social members to book in advance if they want to use the club’s restaurant facilities.

Booking is not essential at the Q Kitchen restaurant but the club believes advance reservations will help them manage bookings.

The move comes after First Minister Nicola Sturgeon announced a further easing of lockdown restrictions which allows golf clubs to open up hospitality facilities – provided they adhere to physical distancing rules and strict hygiene protocols.

On arrival at the clubhouse, the club will take your name and number to ensure full compliance with the Scottish Government’s Test and Protect contact tracing programme.

There will be single use menus, sanitisation stations will be located at various points within the clubhouse, and each table and set of chairs will be sanitised after everyuse.
