A TOTAL of 9,373 meals have been donated to Clydebank residents by Tesco.
The food has been gifted through the Community Food Connection scheme it operates with food redistribution charity FareShare.
Since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, almost 700 new groups have signed up to receive food.
Charities and community groups are paired with a Tesco store, and at the end of each day a store colleague works out which food is likely to be unsold and then uses an app to reveal what food can be collected.
