A WOMAN is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today after police allegedly discovered firearms and £50,000 worth of drugs at a Drumchapel property.
Officers reportedly seized two firearms, ammunition, and a large quantity of what is believed to be heroin, from Tallant Road.
Police searched the address on Friday, July 3, and arrested a 44-year-old woman.
Detective Inspector Jim Bradley, based at Baird Street police station, said: "We will always proactively target people who are believed to be involved in criminal activity and our enquiries remain ongoing.
"I would encourage people with any information about drug crime or suspicious behaviour in their area that is potentially linked to criminality to contact us on 101.
Information from the public is important and helps us do our job to protect people and our communities."
