A MAN has been arrested following an alleged robbery in which a woman was reportedly threatened with a knife in her own home.

Three men gained entry to a 48-year-old woman’s flat in Knightswood, before allegedly threatening her with the weapon and demanding money and possessions on Sunday, May 3.

Two of them were wearing masks.

Police have since arrested a 21-year-old, but enquires continue to trace the other two men.

The woman was uninjured but was left “very distressed” following the incident at around that took place around 5.25pm.

After reportedly making off with a five-figure sum of cash, the trio made off from the Dumbarton Road flat.

A police spokesperson said: “A 21-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with this robbery and he is due before Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday, 25 June 2020.

“Police enquiries are continuing.”
