FAIFLEY residents expressed their disappointment after rubbish was strewn across the streets.
Recycling bins failed to be collected by West Dunbartonshire Council more than two weeks ago.
And despite black bins being emptied, some rubbish bags were left behind.
But as always, the council said they cannot uplift additional bin bags presented alongside bins.
One resident said the refuse department failed to collect recycling bins on a number of streets, including Lennox Drive, Abbeylands Road, Whitehill Crescent, Lawnmuir Crescent and Langfaulds Crescent.
A West Dunbartonshire Council spokeswoman said: “We would like to apologise to any resident whose bin was missed in Faifley.
“We are working under exceptional circumstances with a reduced workforce and want to thank residents for their patience as we restore recycling services.
“We have now uplifted these missed bins.”
