POLICE in Clydebank are looking for the owners of three bikes that have been recovered following a spate of thefts.

Officers have responded to a number of reports of stolen bikes in the Clydebank and Drumchapel areas.

But, five bikes have been recovered by cops – with only two being positively identified by their owners.

PC Hanna, of Clydebank Community Policing Team, said: β€œIn the course of our enquiries we recovered five bikes, two of which have since been positively identified by owners.

"We are releasing images today in an effort to trace the owners of the remaining three bikes.

"The recent incidents we are investigating happened over the last six weeks however some of the items we have recovered could have been stolen further back than that and I would encourage anyone who recognises any of the bikes to get in touch."

Anyone who has information on any of the bikes pictured or believes them to have been stolen from a theft at their property should contact Clydebank police office via the 101 non-emergency number quoting incident no 1054.
