HEARTS have been kindly made by local knitters to support those who have lost someone during the coronavirus crisis.
Last week, the Post reported that NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde was looking for knitters to create hearts to give to families.
A small heart will be offered to families, while another will remain with their loved one who has passed away, in the hope it will allow them to feel more connected to their relative.

Margaret Reid, from Dalmuir, has been busy making the hearts (pictured above) along with friends Sarah Smith, from Old Kilpatrick, and Janet Slowik, from Balloch.
The trio have been donating their hearts to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
