Clydebank’s elderly and vulnerable who have been told to self-isolate due to the coronavirus have been offered a collection repair service from staff at Specsavers.
Alison Haining, of Specsavers Clydebank, said: “I’m concerned with the amount of elderly people coming into the store for adjustments and repairs.
“Jim McLaren, from Golden Friendships, Claire Bruynseels and her team, and I will be arranging to pick up and I’ll repair and adjust your glasses for you and we’ll coordinate delivery of your glasses back to you all sanitised and keeping social distancing at every step.”
The store have urged those who need a repair to call 0141 951 8822.
