POLICE Scotland have issued a statement regarding the temporary closure of its Clydebank Montrose Street station.
The Post reported earlier that the building is shut to the public temporarily.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland has now said: "We provided assistance to a 47-year-old man at the reception area within Clydebank police station on Montrose Street overnight on Monday, April 20 who claimed to be suffering from coronavirus symptoms.

"The reception area is currently closed to allow a deep clean to take place as a precaution.
"Anyone who needs to report any incidents to Police Scotland should do so via 101 or 999 in an emergency."
