A KNIGHTSWOOD teenager has appeared in court charged with putting a man’s life in danger by assaulting him with a knife near a railway station.

Scott Dundas, 18, of Baldwin Avenue, is accused of assaulting the man on waste ground near Westerton railway station on June 16 last year by striking him on the body with a knife “to his severe injury, permanent disfigurement and to the danger of his life”.

Mr Dundas also faces a separate charge of being in possession of a bladed weapon at the time of the alleged offence.

He pleaded not guilty to the charges at Dumbarton Sheriff Court.
