The family of a missing man have said he has been spotted in the Clydebank area.
George Sutherland, 45, has not been seen by family or friends since Sunday, 8 March, and the last confirmed sighting was on CCTV at 8.45pm near to Dalreoch Train Station.
But his family said they have received messages of George being seen in the Duntocher and Dalmuir areas of Clydebank, and are keen for people to look out for him.
George is described as white, 6ft 2in, of slim build with short grey and white hair.
When last seen he was wearing a dark jacket, a light coloured top and jeans.
Inspector John Forrest, from Dumbarton Police Office, said: βIt is unusual for George not to be in contact with his family and we are appealing for anyone with information which may help to trace him to get in touch.β
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident number 3765 of 8 March.
Alternatively, information can be passed to Crimestoppers anonymously by calling 0800555111.
