A CLYDEBANK man who refused to leave his ex alone has appeared in court charged with a domestic abuse offence.
Thomas Smith, 31, repeatedly sent text messages to his former partner and turned up at her work while knowing she did not want any contact with him.
The charges took place between October 1 and October 6, last year.
At Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Friday, Sheriff William Gallacher told Smith, of Craigbanzo Street, that he would defer sentence for an assessment to be carried out.

Smith will be assessed to see if he is suitable to take part in the PAIR domestic abuse programme.
