A TEENAGER from Knightswood will be battling for a place in the finals of a national dance competition this weekend.
Ebony MacLean and friends from Dancepoint School have been fighting for the chance to win £50,000 and the opportunity to perform on Strictly Come Dancing as part of the BBC show, The Greatest Dancer.
The teenager who has danced since she was one, attends St Thomas Aquinas Secondary School, and has not long celebrated her 16th birthday while she was stuck in London due to the recent storms.

Ebony’s mum told the Post: “I am honestly bursting with pride every single time I watch Ebony dance and perform but the feelings you get when you are sat in the audience every week knowing your daughter is part of such a amazing group and on the TV is totally overwhelming.
“I’m bursting with every emotion possible. I’m so proud of them all.
"Don't forget to vote for Dancepoint on Saturday!"
