Thief who stole car from Duntocher went on to be involved in accident
A DUNTOCHER resident who reportedly had their car stolen was then called by police to inform them it had been involved in a road traffic accident down south.
The owner left their vehicle parked and secured at their home address on February 16 at around 2.30pm.
At 10.45pm on the same day, North Yorkshire Police got in touch and told them it had been involved in an collision.
