A MAN was left needing surgery following an alleged serious assault that took place in Dalmuir last week.
A 45-year-old man reportedly hit a 32-year-old man on the face with a glass bottle - leaving him with serious injuries that required hospital treatment.
He lost two teeth, needed a number of stitches and surgery to his mouth and jaw.
The incident took place on Stewart Street on Monday, February 17 between 8-9pm.

Police arrested the 45-year-old.
