Drumchapel residents are being encouraged to get active and explore their local woodland sites.
The surrounding areas of Drumchapel offer easily-accessible woodland trails in Garscadden Woods.
There is the “Witches’ Way” trail in the west, offering wide clearings and peaceful paths to “The Bluebell Trail” in the east of the wood with its ancient Antonine Wall wooden bench.

Paige Klinkman from Forestry and Land Scotland said: “You can boost your mental and physical health and wellbeing just being outside in the natural environment.”
Recent studies suggest that spending two hours a week in woodland is a low-cost and highly effective strategy for maintaining good mental health.
