AN EXHIBITION in Dalmuir has raised enough money to feed 100 children for a whole year.
The Little Arts of Love exhibition, in aid of Mary’s Meals, was held in the Backdoor Gallery in Dalmuir Library for over a month recently.
The sale of artwork raised £1,390, which will go towards meals for children in developing countries while they’re at school. An additional £55 was handed over in donations and £150 was raised from charity Christmas cards.

Josephine Torrance, a volunteer and speaker for the charity for the past 15 years and a member of Faifley Art Group, organised the exhibition.
She said: “Thanks to the generosity of West Dunbartonshire Leisure Trust, the members of Faifley Art Group and some very generous artist friends.”
Josephine recently visited the Mary’s Meals office to hand over the money.
