Clydebank families are being asked to try out for an upcoming BBC TV programme Marrying Mum and Dad.

The children’s show, where kids get to be in charge of organising their parents or step-parents’ wedding day, is back for an eighth series and producers are looking for families with children aged eight to 14 to take part in the new series.

The children get to choose everything from the theme to the venue to entertainment and even the outfits.

Ed Petrie, co-host, said: "Marrying Mum and Dad weddings are exhilaratingly bonkers, heart-warmingly wacky and utterly unique. A day your family will truly remember forever.”

The deadline for applications is Monday, February 17 and it is now the final call for applications, with filming taking place March to August.
