BUSINESSES in Clydebank who deserve recognition for their efforts will be honoured at an upcoming awards night.

Applications are now open for the 2020 Working4Business Awards, which celebrates the success and innovation brought to the area by local business.

This year’s event will take place at Clydebank Town Hall on May 22 where winners will be selected from 10 different categories, including most promising new business, best family business, developing the young workforce and innovation in business.

Councillor Iain McLaren, convener of infrastructure, regeneration and economic development for the council, said: “I look forward to the Working4Business Awards each year as it is always such an inspiring event, where I have the opportunity to hear about the fantastic work going on throughout West Dunbartonshire.

“I am always so impressed by the creative thinking and innovation and I know from chatting to the people who have attended in previous years that they leave the event with refreshed energy and determination to achieve success in their own business.”
