A LEADING charity is appealing to residents of Clydebank to make a difference to people’s lives this year - by doing some volunteering.

Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland is looking for people to fill various roles which span across their rehabilitation services, community support groups, shops, fundraising events and various roles in their offices across Scotland.

Paul Okroj, head of volunteering at the charity, said: “Our volunteers are absolutely vital in helping us support people across Scotland. They help to provide our services, help run our many shops and assist us in creating exciting fundraising events. Without them we simply couldn’t reach and help as many people as we do.
