A CLYDEBANK youngster has been appointed an official ambassador for the Irn-Bru Carnival.
Rosigh Purdon, seven, will become the face of the funfair and receives unlimited access to the carnival that is running until January 12 at the SEC in Glasgow.
An appeal was previously launched looking for the city’s biggest carnival fans.
Greg Cherry, managing director of QD Events, said: “We didn’t think we could find ambassadors as confident and charismatic as last year’s, but we were quickly proven wrong by the amount of amazing entries we received this year.

“Each of our five winners are true carnival super fans and we can’t wait to see what fantastic content Rosigh will create as part of her role.
“The mass amount of entries we received really showed us how important the carnival is to the people of Glasgow and we’re delighted to be able to include some of our regulars in our centenary celebrations.”
