CARLEITH Primary pupils welcomed a special guest to sing with them their during their recent Nativity show.
Young singer-songwriter Liv Dawn performed at the school’s show herself and then with the pupils.
The 21-year-old, who is from Alexandria and went to the Vale of Leven Academy, studied acting and performance for two years but only in the last year decided to take on music as a career.
Liv told the Post: “Everything went really well and there was a good turnout. The kids loved it and had great fun. They were all really nice and it’s such a nice wee school.”
The singer gifted each pupil with a signed CD of hers.

Hazel Campbell, depute head teacher at Carleith Primary, said: “It was a really special day for the pupils to not only meet Liv but to also have the chance to perform with her, it was well attended by family and friends and we’ve had fantastic feedback from everyone.
“We’re really grateful to Liv for giving up her time to attend and the pupils really appreciated her visit.”
