BANKIES who want to make a child smile this Christmas are being encouraged to support Clydebank Estate and Letting Agents festive appeal.

The local company is collecting donations of toys as well as food to support those less fortunate.

Tom Sheridan, managing director, told the Post: “The initiative has been set up to help kids that may not get a hot dinner never mind gifts.”

It is the second year running that the Clydebank-based company have decided to run the appeal.

They posted on their Facebook page: “Following on from our extremely successful Christmas collection last year, we are again asking our friends, family and clients to give generously to those in need at Christmas.

“There is no donation too small, from selection boxes, stocking fillers to food donations, your generosity will go to those less fortunate and help put a smile on their face at a difficult time of year.

“This is a cause close to our hearts and we know we can rely on your support.”

Please drop any donations into the branch at 48 Kilbowie Road, which will go to individual families who have already been in touch with the company.
