A CLYDEBANK woman who took part in a supermarket sweep managed to grab £408.96 worth of products – while raising money for charity.

Shona McGraw filled two trollies full of goodies in just five minutes after winning Aldi’s Supermarket Sweep competition.

The store at Kilbowie Retail Park matched the total value of Shona’s haul and donated the sum to her nominated charity West Dunbartonshire Community Foodshare.

Shona McGraw told the Post: “The supermarket sweep was tremendous fun.

“I managed to fill two trolleys, including some Christmas treats which I have shared with my friends and neighbours.

“I also managed to grab some nappies off the shelves as a little extra donation for the foodshare.

“I am thrilled to have raised such a brilliant amount of money for a very worthy cause, and I would like to say a special thanks to Aldi for the chance to help my community.”
