A WOMAN with a number of outstanding warrants reportedly tried to run away from police when she was spotted in the street.
The 23-year-old was seen by officers on patrol in Hamilton Street, at around 1pm, last Wednesday.
She allegedly tried to make off but was caught. The woman reportedly assaulted officers by kicking and slapping them.

She was taken to Clydebank police office and appeared in court the following day.
