ROADS bosses are being urged to spruce up Clydebank street signs that are fading away into obscurity.
Even with the advent of satnav, the need to see what street you're actually on hasn't disappeared, and drivers in West Dunbartonshire said it's particularly difficult at night to read some of the signs.
One local worker told the Post: "I can’t find my way because at least half the signs are completely illegible.
"Some of them are some badly worn they are basically blank. Although, quite a few are very dirty as well."
Street names are required when reporting issues such as potholes or lighting fault.
West Dunbartonshire Council has been approached for comment.
